Introduction
I am NOT a baker but I am an adventurer. I don't consider myself a good baker but like so many others, hopped on the bread-making during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
For the most part, I never tried anything more challening that a loaf of
Basic Amish White Bread. Admittedly, It's a rather boring recipe but it's simple and reliable as long as the temperature of the water was just right (not too hot or too cold).
I've mostly avoided the challenge of making a good sourdough loaf. So, here it goes, welcome to Adventures in Baking. This blog will mostly contain my takeaways from baking sourdough but there will be a sprinkling of proven recipes, mostly from with love from Grandma Frank's Kitchen, but that's a post for another time...
